Adele – Manager Safeguarding and Health & safety Officer, Special Educational Needs Co-
I became involved in Daisy Chains when my eldest son started in nursery in 2001 and that is when I became a trustee. Having previously trained in early years my passion returned and I decided to further my career and gained a level 3 in childcare. I was thrilled when I became Manager in 2013 being able to lead and be a part of a strong team is something I am very proud of. Lots of hard work and dedication has been put in to changing the way Daisy Chains has been run in the past couple of years. I completed a level 2 in Leadership and Management in 2015 this qualification enabled me to gain a further insight into running the business and lead the team more effectively. I am so proud to be the Manager of Daisy Chains and see the children thrive and develop by learning through play.
I welcome your opinions/suggestions to improve any part of our service, we will always strive to achieve the highest of standards at all times and pride ourselves in providing for your child’s individual needs.
I work closely with other agencies for individual children and families to ensure all their needs are met and welcome other professional agencies into the setting to support your child.
Hi my name is Alison Daniels and I joined Daisy Chains in August 2015 which is very exciting for me. I have my level 3 in child care development and have 17 years of experience in nursery settings. I have just completed Special Educational Needs Co Ordinators course which I found really interesting and proud to be a part of.
I really enjoy working with children it is most rewarding job ever to see them thrive whilst learning through play.
I have four children of my own, two boys aged 13 and 17 years and two girls aged 18 and 19 years. I absolutely love family time whether we go ice skating, swimming or just sitting down for a roast dinner on a Sunday and talking to each other.
Hi everyone, I’m a qualified NNEB nursery nurse, I’ve lived in Penistone forever, so you’ve probably seen me around or shopping in Tesco, if you do, come say hi!
I’ve a gorgeous little girl, Pollyanna who is 7 she’s a confident and strong little girl who I’m incredibly proud of.
I’m returning back to work after spending 2 wonderful years with her. I’ve worked in 3 different nurseries all have been fab. I’ve met some wonderful families which I gained great trust with. I try to help any family the best way possible or if I can’t I will certainly find someone who can.
And finally I totally understand how precious your children are, I will do my very best to ensure your little ones have the best possible time ever, in Daisy Chains.
